BENNY'S STORY
A Family Business
since 1981
In the early days ‘Benny’s Bakehouse’ had one staff member and sold just two products – Apple Tarts and Brown Soda Bread.
He started baking at 4am and when everything was sold they went home for the day.

Benny’s Deli is a family run bakery, restaurant and delicatessen situated in the west of Ireland market town of Castlerea, Co. Roscommon. We started out baking fresh apple tarts and brown soda bread from our small bakery on Castlerea’s main street in 1981. We have been getting up early every morning to bake them ever since, but now from a bigger premises on Lower Main Street.
